Dan Adler has been practicing law continuously since 1979 and helping clients with their personal dealings and with their business and courtroom matters in Will, Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kankakee, LaSalle, Lake and Kendall Counties and in the Federal Courts of the Northern District of Illinois. Dan is well known for his strong values and proven results and how he helps clients find and implement practical solutions to their legal, business,and personal problems.

 

Family Background

Dan is the father of five children. The family has lived in New Lenox, Illinois since 1980. Dan and his children have been active in programs in New Lenox Grade School District 122, St. Jude's Parish, Lincoln-Way High School, New Lenox Soccer Association, New Lenox Wrestling Association, New Lenox Rebels Baseball Association, New Lenox Girl's Softball Association, and New Lenox Swimming Association, among others. Dan is a member of the Joliet Rotary and the Will County Bar Association. He has held positions in the past with the Plainfield Rotary, the American Cancer Society, Joliet Mainline Toastmasters, the New Lenox St. Jude's Parish Council, and other civic organizations.

Dan's parents, Joe and Jodie Adler, raised Dan and his five siblings on the near west side of Joliet. His brothers run J.L. Adler Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc., a business established by Dan's grandfather, Joseph, in 1926 and maintained for many years by his grandmother, Rachel M. Adler, and his father, Joe, now retired. Dan spent many summers working on roofs for Adler Roofing.

Education

Dan Adler is a 1979 graduate of the College of Law at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, where he has returned from time to time to give addresses to the students about the practice of law in Will County. Dan obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana in 1976. He is a 1972 graduate of Joliet Catholic High School, now known as Joliet Catholic Academy, and a 1968 graduate of St. Patrick's Grade school.
